Naveed Jatt killed in Budgam gunfight

Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Naveed Jatt has been shot dead by forces in an encounter in Budgam district on Wednesday, reports said.

Two other militants were also killed after they opened fire on forces who had launched a cordon and search operation in Kuthpora area of Budgam following information about presence of militants. The firing was retaliated by the forces, leading to a gun battle, an official said.
