Srinagar, December 28:(GNS) One militant was killed in a brief shootout after Militants attacked Army’s 55RR patrolling party near Rinzipora area of South Kashmir’s Awantipora.
Reports reaching GNS said that militants attacked Army’s 55RR patrolling party near Rinzipora, the army retaliated and triggering a brief shoot.
After brief shoot out was over the army during search recovered one militant body.
However the identification of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.
As per the sources it was a group of three militants, two of them managed to escape from the spot.(GNS)
