Minor injured critically as suspicious object went off in Pulwama village

Srinagar, December 29:(GNS) A 10 year old boy was injured critically in a mysterious blast at Gadoora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

SSP Pulwama Chandan Kohli told GNS that boy was injured after he was fiddling with an explosive material in orchards at Gadoora.

While fiddling with the object, the device went off resulting in his serious injuries, SSP said.

The injured has been identified as Arif Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Ghani Dar resident of Laroow, Pulwama and was taken to nearby hospital where from he was refrerred to SMHS hospital for further treatment.

Sources said that the incident took place while Arif was grazing cattles in the field.(GNS)
