Sopore, Jan 06 : Government forces launched a cordon and search operation in north Kashmir’s Sopore village this evening.
Reports said that forces jointly by Army’s 22 RR, SOG Sopore and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation in Lone Mohalla area of Zaloora this evening.
Locals said that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
Meanwhile An official told that CASO was launched after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
