Kulgam , Jan 12 : Massive clashes erupted near the encounter site between the government forces and youth this evening in south Kashmir’s Kulgam village.
Reports reaching to Kashmir Indepth News said that scores of youth assembled near the encounter site in Katapora village shouting pro-freedom and anti-government slogans, triggering massive clashes.
The forces retaliated the protestors by tear gas smoke shells to disperse them.
Earlier two unidentified militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter which broke out at Katapora area of Kulgam.
However the identity of the slain militants are yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile authorities suspended internet services in parts of Kulgam as a precautionary measure.
