Srinagar police arrests a lottery seller

January 15: Acting on specific information regarding the presence of lottery sellers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kothibagh, Srinagar police arrested a lottery seller who was cheating common masses in Lalchowk area.

The arrested person was identified as Faizan Ahmed Dar son of Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar resident of Narkara Budgam.

A Scooty bearing registration number JK04D/7678, a mobile phone used for online ticket booking with bookies and other relevant material was recovered and taken in possession accordingly.

A case FIR No 02/2019 under relevant section of law has been registered and initiated investigations in the matter.
