Srinagar, May 09 : On the directions of SSP Srinagar Dr M. Haseeb Mughal -JKPS, Srinagar Police today with an aim to strengthen police-public relations organized an Iftaar party for the general public near Fire Service Headquarter, Batmaloo.
The aim of such parties is to facilitate iftaar of the Muslim brethren as well as to strengthen the police-public relations.
Large number of civilians as well as policemen participated in the iftaar party. General public has applauded the efforts of Srinagar police.
Srinagar police is committed to facilitate the people & such parties will be organised in other parts of the city in coming days during the holy month of Ramadhan.
