I want to serve my people, become their voice: Munish

Jammu : Early Times, Editor Munish Gupta, on Sunday asked the people of Jammu to become the masters of their destiny and vote for the candidate who could always remain available for them.

Munish would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections from Gandhi Nagar constituency as an Independent candidate. To garner support he met people from different walks of life at upper Exchange Gadigarh, Karan Nagar Basti and adjoining areas, informed them about his vision and aim.

“During the past so many years we have voted for the people who make guest appearance during the election season. After the polls are over we have to look for them and most of the times the representatives whom we choose remain inaccessible,” Munish said.

” I have come to you people with an honest intention. I want to serve the people of my land and become their voice. I have grown up among you people and am aware about the problems which all of us face in our day to day lives,” he added.

Munish said that entire country is changing and “New India” is emerging. “We have to come together to turn Jammu into a better place to live and turn it into New Jammu. I cannot do it alone. I need your support and good wishes to challenge those who during all these years have just made tall promises but have failed to deliver,” he added.
