Poonch LoC Shelling: Injured army soldier succumbs in military hospital

Jammu, June 11 : An army soldier who was injured critically on Monday evening in Pakistani shelling at Shahpur sector along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir succumbed to injuries today morning.

Army spokesperson Lt Col Devender Anand said that the soldier Lance Naik Mohammad Jawed succumbed to injuries today morning.

The soldier Jawed, a resident of Marrar, Tehsil Morrahi, District Khagaria, Bihar, was injured after Pakistani army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Shahpur Sector along LoC on Monday evening, the spokesman said. (GNS)
