Police, army, agencies responsible for gun culture in Kashmir: Er Rasheed

Baramulla, June 30 : Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) chairman Er Rasheed on Sunday said that it is police and other security agencies including army who are responsible for gun culture in Kashmir valley.

Er Rasheed while addressing a large gathering of people at Delina village in north Kashmir’s Baramulla said that police, army and other security agencies always forced youths to join militant ranks by torturing them in multiple ways.

The convention was held at the residence of Ghulam Rasool Mir at Delina who recently joined AIP.

He said when all the talk holders will be under house arrest including Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Aasiya Andrabi etc then youth like Riyaz Naikoo are coming forward with gun to solve Kashmir issue.

Er Rasheed also lashed out at government’s recently launched scheme “Back to Village” and termed it a “flop show in which administration is misleading and making befooling people”. (GNS)
