PDP leader Yawar Dilawar Mir resigns from party

Baramulla : Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Yawar Dilawar Mir and former MLA of Rafiabad constituency has resigned from the party on Friday.


Sources told Kashmir Indepth that his resignation came after party on Thursday expelled eight party leaders for going against ‘interests of J&K, party ideology’ in which Dilawar Mir, father of Yawar Mir was among them.


Pertainally, last year top leaders of the party including Imran Ansari, Altaf Bukhari, Basharat Bukhari, Javaid Mustafa Mir and some former MLAs have already deserted the party.
