DSEJ organizes program on “PM’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020”

JAMMU, JANUARY 20: Directorate of School Education Jammu organized a mega show revolving around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s live interaction with students at Taal Katora Stadium in New Delhi today.

The mega show was held at Teacher’s Bhawan auditorium, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu where around 650 students from different government schools of Jammu Division watched the live interaction of the PM – “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020 – Pariksha Ki Baat, PM Ke Saath”.

Commissioner Secretary School Education Hirdesh K. Singh, Director School Education Jammu Anuradha Gupta and State Project Director Samagra Shiksha Dr. Arun Manhas also watched the programme along with the students.

The participants appreciated the program during which they got useful and handy tips to handle examinations effectively. Similar live telecasts of the same event were also organized in all the government schools (High and Higher secondary) of Jammu Division.

Orders in this regard were already issued by Director School Education Jammu Anuradha Gupta.

The counselling cell of Directorate of School Education Jammu also distributed pamphlets regarding telecounselling helpline so that students undergoing any exam related issue can get expert advice.

Directorate of School Education Jammu has already initiated many counselling initiatives to help manage the stress of students including examination stress.

An interactive session was also held after the live telecast to answer the queries of the students related to examinations.

Out of eight students shortlisted from 4500 students of J&K UT through a contest, six students from Government Schools of Jammu Division had gone to attend the live programme at New Delhi.

Karishma Raina, a student of class XI, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Nowabad Jammu, got selected to ask a question of the PM during the event.

“Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020- Pariksha Ki Baat, PM Ke Saath” was the third edition of PM Modi’s interaction with students across the nation on various aspects of examinations.
