02 March 2020: A complaint was received from Bashir Ahmad Ganie regarding kidnapping of his minor daughter, upon which a case was lodged at Police Station Tarzoo.
Accordingly a special team headed by SHO Police Station Tarzoo SI Bilal Khanday carried out searchs at different places in the entire area and after hectic efforts the said couple were traced out.
After all departmental legal formalities minor girl was handed over to her family and the kidnapper namely Junaid Ahmad Ganie S/O Mohammad Maqbool Ganie arrested in case FIR No. 08/2020, further investigation set into motion.
The general public has appreciated the Sopore Police action.
