Rain, snow likely in Kashmir during next 12 hours



Srinagar, March 11 (KNIS): Weatherman on Wednesday said there are chances of the high possibility of thunderstorm accompanied “by strong gusty winds, hailstorm during the period of inclement weather for next two days. 


Director MeT, Sonam Lotus, told Kashmir Indepth News Agency (KNIS) A fresh western disturbance will affect the UT of J&K from late tonight & many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Ladakh, will start receiving rains and thundershowers.  He said that some places might even see snowfall activities.


The weather may stay dry during tomorrow afternoon, however, another spell is possible from tomorrow evening.


Lotus added that the weather is likely to improve from Friday afternoon(KNIS).
