SMC installs first of its disinfectant tunnel at CD Hospital

SRINAGAR, APRIL 02: Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) today installed and made operational first disinfectant tunnel for decontamination and sanitization at CD Hospital Dalgate here amid Coronavirus pandemic.

Mayor, Junaid Azim Mattu accompanied by Deputy Mayor Parvez Qadri, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Gazanfar Hussain and other officials visited CD Hospital to inspect and start off the installation of disinfectant tunnel.

With the operationalization of the tunnel people including doctors, hospital workers, patients and other attendants can get sanitized instantly while entering or leaving the hospital.

Besides the step, SMC has taken various measures to curb the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic by sanitizing all the areas where from people were found to be positive for this deadly disease with a special recommended chemical including quarantine facilities and hospitals.
