Two LeT militant associates arrested in Sopore

Sopore, April 03 : Police arrested two militant associates affiliated with banned outfit Lashkar e Toiba and recovered arms and ammunition in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Friday.

Reports reaching said that following on a specific information about the presence of two militant associates in Noorbagh area of Sopore , a joint team operation was launched by police, army and CRPF , during the raid two militant associates were arrested.

A senior police official also confirmed and said duo were providing logistic support to active militants of LeT, officer said arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession. Officer said a case has been registered and initiated investigation into the incident.(GNS)
