COVID-19 : Pregnant lady test positive in Handwara

Srinagar, May 14 (KINS): A 25 year old pregnant lady has been tested positive for coronavirus in north Kashmir’s Handwara on Thursday.

An official told news agency KINS that the lady from Reshipora village of Qaziabad Handwara has been tested positive. The official said she recently visited Sopore town for a checkup where she had come in close contact with a COVID infected victim.

A health official also confirmed to news agency KINS and said after the report of pregnant lady came postive for COVID-19 today, we have kept couple under isolation ward at Sopore hospital while her family has been kept quarantined at Handwara.

With this fresh case the toll of COVID-19 positive cases in Kupwara district rises to 83. (KINS)
