Six employees suspended over illegal constructions along Nallah Sindh in G’bal

Ganderbal July 17: Administration has  suspended six government employees over illegal construction along Nallah Sindh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.


An order in this regard, a copy of which  lies with news agency KINS reads that consequent upon raising of illegal constructions on Nallah Sindh in violation of High Court Order passed in PIL NO:404/2011 titled Qazi Rashid Shamas v/s State of J&K and others, pending enquiry into the matter the six  officials are hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect. 


The officials, as per the order include, Bashir Ahmad Magray (Revenue), Shafat Hakak (Jal Shakti/I&FC), Abdul Rashid Dar (Jal Shakti/I&FC), Abdul Ahad Malik (Jal Shakti/I&FC), John Mohammad Wani (Jal Shakti/I&FC) and Azhar Ahmad Hajam (Jal Shakti/I&FC).


Meanwhile, the Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal shall conduct a discrete enquiry into the matter and furnish report within a fortnight, the order reads.
