2 militant associates held in Baramulla

Baramulla, Sep 16: Security forces on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two militant associates in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told KINS that two militant associates were apprehended during naka checking and arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession.

The duo militant associates were identified as Aijaz Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Hassan Khan of Nijbat and Huzaif Firdous son of Firdous Ahmad Bhat of Chhur.

The officer said two hand grenades, AK 47 100 rounds and letter pads of Lashkar-e-Toiba 2 were recovered from their possession.

A case FIR Number 159/20 U/S IA Act 7/25 Act 18 20 39 ULA and further investigation has been initiated the officer added.
