KULGAM, OCTOBER 12: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today chaired a meeting of officers to finalise the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of Urs Sheikh Noor Ud Din Noorani (RA), being celebrated at his birth place at Qaimoh, Kulgam.
During the meeting the officers briefed the DDC about the arrangements that have been put in place for the devotees at Qaimoh and other places in the district.
The DDC directed the officials of PDD and PHE department to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply to the area.
He also directed the concerned officers to ensure proper sanitation cum fumigation in and around the shrine while the department of health was directed to depute a medical team.
In view of COVID-19 pandemic all concerned were directed to ensure strict adherence to SOP’s.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Executive Engineers of PDD and Jal Shakti, ARTO, BMO and other concerned officers besides members of Auqaf committee were also present in the meeting.
