Police public interaction meeting held at PS Karan Nagar

Srinagar, Mar 16 (KINS): As a part of public outreach programme, police public interaction meeting was held at Police Station Karan Nagar. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.

The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Karan Nagar and was attended by the representatives of Market Committee Karanagar.

During the meeting, the participants raised various issues including parking for vehicles etc. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.

The chairing officer also advised the participants to install CCTV cameras in and around their business establishments.

The participants assured their cooperation and appreciated the efforts of Police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely. The participants also urged that such kind of interactive meetings shall be organized in future for plugging the gap between public and police.“`
