  R&RC Migrants, DC Kupwara visit Migrant Colony Nutnussa, review facilities

 

KUPWARA, JULY 3 (KINS): The Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (R&RC) Migrants, J&K, Tej Krishan Bhat and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Migrant Colony Nutnussa here to review the basic amenities available at the colony.

On the occasion, the R&RC and the DC interacted with the inhabitants of the colony and heard their grievances.

The inhabitants apprised the dignitaries about the issues relating to power, water supply, drainage and ration besides providing of dustbins.

The dignitaries heard the inhabitants patiently and assured of timely redressal of their genuine demands.

The DC issued on spot directions to the Assistant Director, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Kupwara to ensure smooth ration supply to the inhabitants.

On the demand of the inhabitants, the DC also issued directions for construction of two trenches near the colony under solid waste management. Besides these, various other issues were also resolved on the spot. (KINS)
