Chairman DDC, Vice Chairman reviews development scenario of Kupwara district

KUPWARA, JULY 6 (KINS): A meeting of members of District Development Council (DDC), Kupwara was today held under the chairmanship of Chairman, District Development Council, Irfan Sultan Panditpori. Vice Chairperson, DDC, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir was also present on the occasion.

The meeting discussed in threadbare the development scenario of the district especially the works being carried out under Rural Development and Panchayats.

The Chairman stressed upon the concerned officers to expedite the execution of ongoing development works under Rural Development including MGNREGA. He also stressed upon the officers for proper maintenance of coordination between officers and the Councilors so that the better results could be yielded on ground with respect to developmental works and infrastructure creation.

Vice Chairperson DDC also spoke on the occasion and urged for proper utilization of funds for overall development of the district.

Among others, JD Planning; Assistant Commissioner Panchayats, District Panchayat Officer and other concerned attended the meeting. (KINS)
