Unidentified body retrieved from Jhelum in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jul 27  An unidentified body was on Tuesday recovered from river Jhelum in the downtown Srinagar, official sources said.
They said, panic gripped in Parimpora area when a body was seen floating in river Jhelum. The body was retrieved by police and locals, they said adding the body was taken away by police for identification.
The cause of his death was being ascertained, they said adding a case FIR has been registered in police station Parimpora and investigation taken up.
