KUPWARA, DECEMBER 28 ( KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited block Kralpora of Kupwara district to address the grievances of the general public on the spot. He also reviewed progress of ongoing developmental works in the block.
The DC visited Thandipora and other villages of the Kralpora block and inspected the old water reservoir. The people demanded renovation of the water reservoir for upgrading the irrigation facility in the area. They also demanded augmentation of water supply and power supply and other day to day requirements.
Imam Din heard the public patiently and resolved various issues on the spot and besides for various issues he directed concerned officers for timely resolution of their issues.
The DC also inspected under construction office buildings for BDO Office and Nayabat and directed the concerned agencies to ensure speedy execution of the buildings so that both the buildings shall be commissioned during the current financial year.
The DC was accompanied by Tehsildar Kralpora, BDO, BMO and other concerned officers. ( KINS)
