President Droupadi Murmu arrives at Srinagar Airport

Srinagar, Oct 11: President Droupadi Murmu, has arrived at the Srinagar Airport, marking the commencement of her significant two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
As part of her itinerary, President Murmu is slated to grace the 20th convocation ceremony at the University of Kashmir, a prestigious event that will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on the academic landscape of the region.
President Murmu is scheduled to interact with members of various tribal groups and women involved in self-help initiatives at Raj Bhavan. This engagement will foster a closer understanding of the challenges and triumphs of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
A civic reception in her honor is also on the agenda, reflecting the warm and cordial reception that the President is receiving in the Union Territory. Tomorrow, on October 12, the President will make a special visit to the revered Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. During this visit, she will inaugurate a remodelled Parvati Bhavan and a brand new skywalk, symbolizing the union of tradition and modernity in the region.
