Srinagar, Dec 23: The DGP’s grievance redressal program in Jammu saw 237 individuals, including women and the elderly, presenting their grievances during a five-hour session at Police Headquarters.
DGP J&K R.R. Swain patiently listened to each complaint, assuring a commitment to promptly address issues related to police services. On-the-spot directives were given for immediate redressal, emphasizing that the initiative focuses solely on resolving complaints, not recruitment or general personnel transfers. The program serves as a direct platform for citizens to submit grievances, enhancing police responsiveness and accountability in addressing concerns at various levels.
