Massive turnout at DGP’s redressal program in Jammu

Srinagar, Dec 23: In an unprecedented show of public engagement, a massive crowd gathered outside the Police Headquarters in Jammu today to participate in the Director General of Police’s (DGP) public redressal program.
The event aimed to provide citizens with a platform to voice their grievances and seek resolution directly from top law enforcement officials.
The people comprised individuals from diverse backgrounds, highlighting the widespread interest and confidence in the effectiveness of the public redressal initiative.
Citizens, armed with their concerns and complaints, patiently waited in long queues, eager for their turn to be heard.
Local resident Renu Sharma expressed her satisfaction with the initiative, saying, “It’s heartening to see our DGP taking proactive steps to connect with the public. This program gives us a direct channel to address our concerns and ensures a sense of community partnership.”
The overwhelming response to the event underscores the importance of fostering a collaborative relationship between the police force and the community.
