DC Kulgam Oversees Preparations for Shab-e-Meraj at Ziyarat Shareef Mir Syed Ali Hussain Simnani RA Shrine

Srinagar, Feb 05: Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan conducted a thorough inspection today at the Shrine of Mir Syed Ali Hussain Simnani RA in preparation for the upcoming Shab-e-Meraj celebrations.

During his visit, the DC engaged with the management committee members of the shrine to assess the arrangements made for devotees attending the event. He ensured that adequate facilities are in place to accommodate the worshippers.

Moreover, Khan directed the authorities of KPDCL and PHE to guarantee uninterrupted power and water supply to the Shrine and neighboring mosques anticipating large congregations.

He also instructed the Municipal authorities to maintain cleanliness in and around the Shrine, with particular emphasis on snow clearance along the Ziyarat road to facilitate smooth movement for the devotees.

Joining the DC in his inspection were ADC Viqar Ahmad Giri, along with Executive Engineers from Jal Shakti and KPDCL, as well as the Executive Officer of MC Kulgam, and other officials. This proactive approach reflects the administration’s commitment to ensuring a hassle-free and spiritually fulfilling experience for the devotees during Shab-e-Meraj.
