Srinagar, Mar 02: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to address a rally at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium on March 7, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir unit is eyeing a massive gathering of one lakh attendees.
BJP leader Altaf Thakur highlighted that the event seeks participation not only from BJP workers but also from the general public.
Plans for the rally have been meticulously discussed, focusing on logistics, security, and crowd management, under the active supervision of JK BJP chief Ravindra Raina and General Secretary Ashok Koul.
Projections indicate a significant turnout, with expectations exceeding one lakh attendees from all the districts,signaling widespread support for the BJP in the region.
Additionally, BJP sources hint at the possibility of Prime Minister Modi holding another election rally in Jammu and Kashmir in the future.
Meanwhile sources said that the party is also planning for a rally featuring Home Minister Amit Shah in Jammu to bolster support for Lok Sabha candidates.
These proactive efforts underscore the BJP’s determination to engage voters and solidify support in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the upcoming elections.(KNS)
