Srinagar, July 06: security forces in Kashmir have engaged in a major encounter in the Kulgam district.
IGP Kashmir provided details about the operation, stating, “Based on specific intelligence, security forces pinpointed the targeted house and initiated a search operation. During the search, they came under fire from inside the house, leading to an encounter.”
“The encounter, which is still ongoing, has already led to the sighting of several bodies inside the house. The exact number and identities of those killed have not yet been confirmed”.
IGP Kashmir commended the forces for their swift and effective response to the intelligence received. “It is a significant achievement for the security forces,” he remarked.
