Srinagar, Sep 19 (KINS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived at the SK Stadium in Srinagar to a roaring welcome from enthusiastic supporters gathered for his much-awaited political rally.
The stadium, packed with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters from across the Kashmir Valley, erupted in cheers as the Prime Minister made his entry.
The atmosphere at the stadium was electric even before his arrival, with supporters waving BJP flags and chanting slogans. Many had been waiting since early morning, traveling from various parts of South, North, and Central Kashmir to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister and hear his address.
Local BJP leaders have called this rally a historic moment for the region, highlighting the significance of PM Modi’s visit. “The turnout here is a clear reflection of the people’s support for the Prime Minister and the BJP,” said a senior party leader at the venue.
A large number of women and youth are also present, “showcasing the diverse support base the Prime Minister commands in the region”.
Security measures were tightened in and around the stadium to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. (KINS)
