Nagrota , Oct 18 ( KINS) : In a significant visit to the NCC Training Academy in Nagrota during the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) camp, Major General R.K. Sachdeva, Additional Director General of NCC Directorate JK&L, inspired cadets with his words on national unity and the importance of discipline. His address to cadets, particularly from the Bihar and Jharkhand Directorates, emphasized the deep meaning behind the NCC motto “Unity and Discipline” and its role in shaping future leaders.
Maj Gen Sachdeva encouraged cadets to carry the spirit of the NCC into their careers, reminding them that “Once a cadet, always a cadet.” He also spoke about the ongoing expansion in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, where new NCC units are being established, offering cadets from remote areas greater opportunities.
The ADG reviewed preparations for the inauguration of the new units and urged cadets to deliver their best performance, while also inspecting renovation works at the academy aimed at improving training infrastructure.
