Accident in Chisoti, Padar Kishtwar reportedly leaves several dead, rescue efforts underway

Srinagar, Oct 24 (KINS): A tragic road accident involving a Tata Sumo vehicle occurred in the Chisoti area of Padar, Kishtwar district, leaving an unconfirmed number of casualties, with reports suggesting between two to four fatalities.
News agency KINS reported that the exact cause of the accident remains unclear, but local authorities are working to gather more details.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh immediately responded to the incident, stating, “Just now spoke to DC Kishtwar, Shri Rajesh Kumar Shavan. A rescue team has been rushed to the spot. The injured will be appropriately shifted to the hospital, and every required assistance will be provided.”
Rescue teams are currently on the scene, working to recover the injured and transport them to the nearest medical facilities.
The local administration is coordinating efforts to ensure that those affected receive the necessary medical care. The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.(KINS)
