Srinagar, Oct 24 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah arrived at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi for a crucial meeting.
Earlier in the day, Abdullah departed from Srinagar, heading to the national capital where discussions are expected to focus on key political developments and security concerns in Jammu and Kashmir.
The timing of the meeting comes amid a period of heightened focus on the Union Territory, following recent political shifts. Although no official statement has been released about the outcome of Abdullah’s visit, reports suggest that security and developmental projects in the Union Territory are among the key topics of discussion.
Omar Abdullah is also expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow, marking back-to-back high-level talks with top Central leadership.
Sources said that CM may discuss about resolution of Cabinet regarding statehood with the top leadership of Central Government (KINS)
