Handwara Police, Army, & CRPF Nab terrorist associate with Arms

Srinagar, Oct 27( KINS): Handwara Police, in collaboration with the Army’s 22 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF 92 Battalion, apprehended a terrorist associate during a naka checking operation.
Police said that the individual, identified as Ishfaq Majeed Dar, son of Ab Majeed Dar from Latti Shart Sopore, was detained at Unisoo while attempting to evade the security check.
“During the search, authorities recovered a pistol along with live ammunition and other incriminating materials from Dar’s possession. An FIR (No. 198/24) has been registered against him under Section 13 and 23 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Section 7/25 of the Arms Act. An investigation into the case has been initiated”.(KINS)
