Jammu Police seize 27 Lakhs worth of heroin & cash from notorious drug peddlers

Srinagar, Oct 27 (KINS): In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Police has seized 265 grams of heroin, valued at approximately 27 lakhs, along with 4, 05,700 in cash from four notorious drug peddlers near TCP Nagrota in Jammu.
The operation was conducted based on reliable information received by law enforcement officials.
Jammu police officials told news agency KINS that acting on the tip-off, police swiftly moved to apprehend the suspects, three of whom are brothers, known for their involvement in the drug trade in the region.
“An FIR has been registered against the individuals involved, and further investigations are currently underway to unravel the extent of their operations and identify any additional accomplices”.
Authorities are determined to strengthen their efforts in the fight against drug trafficking and its detrimental impact on society.(KINS)
