Encounter erupts after terrorists target Army vehicle in Akhnoor

Jammu , Oct 27: The recent attack on an Indian Army convoy near the Assan Mandir area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor has sparked a swift response from security forces. Reports from J&K police indicate that three terrorists were spotted in the vicinity of Battal, firing rounds at an Army ambulance. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported, as swift retaliation from the Army thwarted the attack.

Following the incident, security forces, including the J&K police and Army personnel from the White Knight Corps, swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a joint search operation to neutralize the assailants. The White Knight Corps confirmed on X that the troops’ prompt response prevented any harm to personnel or vehicles. Updates on the situation remain pending as search efforts continue.
