Dr. Farooq Abdullah releases two books at literary event

Srinagar, Nov 02: Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), today presided over a book launch event at Tagore Hall, Srinagar, where he released two publications: Talu-e-Noor by renowned poet and writer Dr. Ganzanfar Ali, and Little Joys by young author Anayah Ali Haji.

During his address, Dr. Abdullah lauded Dr. Ganzanfar Ali for his significant contributions to Urdu literature, particularly highlighting his translation of the poetry of Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA). Dr. Abdullah emphasized the cultural importance of such works, describing them as essential to preserving the region’s rich heritage. He also urged parents in Kashmir to teach their children the Kashmiri language to ensure the survival and vitality of their cultural identity.

The event was attended by prominent literary figures, including Shaad Ramzan and Sabir Mujahid, among others, who gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of both authors.
