NC Legislative party meeting begins in Srinagar ahead of Assembly session, ‘CM Omar also present’

Srinagar, Nov 03 (KINS): The National Conference (NC legislative party meeting begins in Srinagar this evening in preparation for the first session of the newly elected Assembly, set to begin tomorrow.
News agency KINS reported that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is present, leading discussions with all NC Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) attending.
“This meeting aims to strategize key agendas of the ruling party, outline party priorities, discussions on key issues, the election of the assembly speaker, and strategies for addressing opposition challenges, ” a senior leader told news agency KINS.
There were reports that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, as chairman of the National Conference (NC) legislature party, has also called a meeting of legislators from the NC-led government alliance tonight at 7:30 PM.(KINS)
