Annual Day held at Children Home Bag-I-Islam Baramulla

Srinagar , Nov 11 ( KINS) : J& K PET Welfare society and its sponsor J&K people’s Educational Trust (PET) organised Annual day at Dar ul Muzaffar children’s Home (orphanage) Bagh I Islam Baramulla today.

On the occasion the District Development Commissioner Baramulla Minga Shirpa (IAS) was the Chief Guest. A colourful function was held in which various children participated. Some prominent civil society members, journalists and locals too were present who hailed the performance of the children.

Dozens of girl students belonging to destitute families reside in the said Home. Pertinently retired Prof. Muzaffar Ah War, educationist late Abdul Hamid Mohju, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Kawoosa, Mr. Abdul Khaliq have contributed a lot in the working of the said Home for children. The reins of home have now been taken over by Prof. Mohd Ismail (former principal of GDC Baramulla).

The DC Baramulla not only appreciated the performance of children but also hailed the management of school, particularly the efforts of Prof. Mohammad Ismail and Prof. Muzafar Ah War.
