Dry weather to persist in J-K until Nov 24: MeT forecasts light snowfall

Srinagar, Nov 18 ( KINS) : The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has predicted that dry weather will continue in Jammu and Kashmir until November 23, with light rain and snowfall expected on November 24.
According to the MeT official, “Generally dry weather is expected across Jammu and Kashmir from November 18 to the evening of November 23. Light rain and light snowfall are likely over higher reaches in the Kashmir division and isolated areas in the Jammu division from late night on November 23 to the morning of November 24. From November 25 to 30, dry weather will prevail.”
The MeT also issued an advisory noting that minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 1-2°C at many stations in the Kashmir Division and a few places in the Jammu Division over the next five days.
Tourists, trekkers, and travelers have been urged to follow administrative and traffic advisories, especially in areas prone to snowfall.( KINS)
