Adequate winter facilities ensured for schools in Baramulla: DC

Srinagar, Nov 20 (KINS): Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Minga Sherpa said on Wednesday that authorities are fully prepared for the upcoming winter months.
“We have 1,338 government schools and 700 private schools in the district, and winter arrangements have been made for all of them. Special focus has been given to higher secondary schools, with heating devices installed to provide a comfortable environment for students,” Minga Sherpa told news agency KINS.
He said that in addition, the Mechanical Engineering Department Baramulla has completed all preparations for snow clearance, ensuring quick action during snowfall.
“Measures to address food security are also in place, with essential supplies, including rice and sugar, stocked to last until April.The Power Development Department (PDD) has also assured that power supply will remain uninterrupted, even during severe weather conditions”.(KINS)
