CM Omar Abdullah visits Poonch, vows to address public issues promptly

Srinagar, Nov 21 (KINS): In his first visit to the border district of Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday met several delegations to discuss pressing local issues.
The visit saw a massive turnout of people eager to voice their concerns and seek solutions.
News agency KINS reported that among those present were representatives of various sectors, including members of the Bar Association, local leaders who actively engaged with the Chief Minister on matters affecting the district.
The residents expressed hope that the CM’s intervention would address the long-standing challenges faced by Poonch, including infrastructure development, administrative efficiency, and other civic issues.
Taking to social media, Omar Abdullah also shared his commitment to addressing the concerns of the district.
He wrote, “Today, I led my cabinet colleagues and administrative secretaries to the border district of Poonch for a high-level review of the ongoing development works and the effectiveness of the administration in the district. I directed the administration to prioritize the resolution of public issues.”
The CM’s visit was also marked by a high-level review meeting with his cabinet and administrative secretaries, focusing on ongoing development projects and ensuring effective governance.
Residents of Poonch remain optimistic that the Chief Minister’s assurances will translate into meaningful action for the district.(KINS)
