Srinagar, Nov 26 (KINS): The District Police Kupwara celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) with great enthusiasm across the district to emphasiz the commitment to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution of India.
The main event was organized at the District Police Headquarters Kupwara, where SSP Kupwara, Ghulam Jeelani Wani-JKPS along with Gh. Mohd Bhat-JKPS, Addl SP Kupwara, led the celebrations.
At the District Police Headquarters, the officers and officials gathered to mark the occasion. The highlight of the event was the reading of the Preambleof the Constitution by SSP Kupwara and Addl SP Kupwara reminding all present of the guiding principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
A similar function was held at the District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara, where Mohd Rafee Rather-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Kupwara, presided over the event. He led the Preamble reading ceremony in the presence of police personnel, emphasizing the importance of constitutional values in maintaining law and order.
Constitution Day celebrations were also conducted across all Police Stations in the district.
