Nation lost towering musical genius: LG Sinha on passing of tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain

Srinagar, Dec 16 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha, Monday expressed sadness over the passing of world renowned tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain, saying “world has lost a towering musical genius”.
“Deeply grieved to learn about the sad demise of legendary Tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain Ji. In his passing away, the nation and the music world has lost a towering musical genius and the most famous and accomplished exponent of contemporary world music,” Office of LG J&K in a post on X said.(KINS)
