Power Shutdown in Srinagar on December 24 & 26 for Maintenance Work

Srinagar, Dec 23 (KINS): The Chief Engineer of the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of Srinagar to facilitate minor repairs and the replacement of damaged equipment.
As per the notice, the 220/132 KV Transformer Bank-I at Grid Station Pampore, along with the 132 KV ICT Ckt-I, will remain shut down on December 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The shutdown is necessary to carry out repairs, including the replacement of damaged clamps and conductors in the 132 KV Bays of Transformer Bank-I & II and the 132 KV ICT Ckt-I.
Additionally, the 220/132 KV Transformer Bank-II of Grid Station Pampore will be shut down on December 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM for further maintenance.
Consumers in the affected areas are advised to take note of the power outages during these times.(KINS)
