Ahead of Delhi-Srinagar Railway Link, Kulgam Police conduct mock Drill at Qazigund Railway Station

Kulgam, Dec 31 (KINS): In preparation for the anticipated Delhi-Srinagar railway connectivity, Kulgam Police, under the supervision of SSP Kulgam, conducted a mock drill at Qazigund Railway Station on Tuesday.
An official stated that the district police, in collaboration with various security agencies, carried out a full-scale mock drill to enhance preparedness for any potential untoward incidents, particularly those of a terror nature, at vital installations and public places.
News agency KINS reported that the exercise also involved Fire and Emergency Services and medical teams to ensure a comprehensive response strategy.
“The entire drill was meticulously supervised by SSP Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal, IPS. ASP NHW Qazigund Mumtaz Bhati, SDPO Qazigund Rameez Raja, SHO Qazigund Masood Malik, and other officers actively participated in the exercise,” the official added.
The mock drill concluded successfully, showcasing the readiness and effective coordination of Kulgam Police and allied agencies.(KINS)
