Divisional Com Kashmir reviews final arrangements for Republic Day Celebrations

Srinagar, Jan 21 (KINS): Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, conducted a comprehensive review of the final arrangements for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations, ensuring that all necessary measures are in place for a smooth and secure event.
News agency KINS reported that in a high-level meeting held earlier today in Srinagar, Bidhuri discussed the security, logistics, and infrastructure requirements for the celebrations, set to take place on 26th January.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Bilal Mohi- ud- din and other senior officials.
Divisional Commissioner was briefed on the multi-tiered security arrangements, which are being closely coordinated with security agencies to ensure the safety of participants and attendees.
He emphasized the importance of smooth traffic management, crowd control, and medical facilities during the event. “Our primary goal is to ensure a seamless and safe experience for all those attending the celebrations,” Bidhuri said during the meeting.
The Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the status of decorations and seating arrangements at the main venue, as well as preparations for the cultural programs and the ceremonial parade. Special attention was given to the availability of amenities for the public, including transportation and sanitation services.
He directed relevant departments to complete all preparations ahead of schedule, ensuring that there are no last-minute hurdles.
He also urged officials to maintain strict coordination to address any unforeseen challenges that may arise in the lead-up to the event.(KINS)
