Her expertise as a resource person at both state and district levels has contributed to fostering a deeper understanding of child protection issues among stakeholders.

A passionate advocate for child welfare, Sameena is committed to strengthening preventive measures, enhancing rehabilitation programs, and improving access to legal aid for children in need. Her tireless efforts have made a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children, earning her this well-deserved recognition.

In addition to her professional achievements, Sameena is an accomplished writer, contributing articles to leading newspapers in Jammu & Kashmir to raise awareness about child protection and legal rights.

Expressing her gratitude, Sameena said, “This award is not just a personal honor but a recognition of the collective efforts of my colleagues and mentors who share the mission of protecting children’s rights. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my Department of Social Welfare, the Respected DCPO, and the district administration of Ganderbal. On this Republic Day, I am inspired to continue working towards a future where every child feels safe, supported, and empowered.”
